Not ideal for

  • Sending very large lists at low reply rates — the meter runs on contacted prospects
  • Teams wanting LinkedIn outreach included rather than as a $29/mo per-account add-on
  • Anyone who needs a fixed, predictable monthly figure before signing up
  • Buyers who want prospecting data included — Lead Finder is credit-metered

Woodpecker is a cold email and LinkedIn outreach tool from Poland, aimed at sales teams and lead generation agencies. It is one of the older products in this category, and the thing that most distinguishes it from newer rivals is not a feature but the way it charges: you pay for contacted prospects, not for seats, mailboxes or a plan tier.

We have not tested it yet. Everything below is drawn from Woodpecker’s own pricing page and documentation, checked in September 2026, and is presented as what the vendor states rather than what we have measured. There is no score on this page and there will not be one until the benchmark has run.

Pricing

Most tools in this category charge per mailbox or per seat, which quietly punishes the standard cold email setup — many domains, many inboxes, modest volume through each. Woodpecker inverts that. Email accounts are unlimited at no extra cost, team members are unlimited at no extra cost, and the meter runs on how many prospects you contact in a month.

At the entry end of the slider the rate is $7.00 per 100 contacted prospects, and the per-unit price falls as volume rises — Woodpecker’s own slider advertises up to a 99% reduction at the top of the range. Billing annually instead of monthly is advertised at 33% off. Prices are quoted in twelve currencies including USD, EUR, GBP and PLN.

We are deliberately not publishing a “from $X per month” figure. The published rate is a unit price on a slider rather than a list of named tiers, and computing a monthly total from it would be our arithmetic presented as Woodpecker’s price. We will pin exact monthly figures when we buy the account for testing.

What’s included

Included at no additional charge, per the pricing page: email verification, warm-up, inbox rotation, adaptive sending, a centralised inbox, domain audit, condition-based campaigns, unlimited email accounts and unlimited team seats. A free trial is offered without a card.

The add-ons are where a realistic bill gets built, and these are the figures that matter more than the headline rate:

  • LinkedIn outreach — $29/month per LinkedIn account connected. The LinkedIn side is not part of the base product.
  • Additional warm-ups — $5/month per email account, beyond the handful included.
  • Pre-configured mailboxes — $4 to $6/month per address, Google or Microsoft, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC already set up.
  • Lead Finder credits — from $10 per 500 credits.
  • Domains — priced per domain, and Woodpecker notes the figure is approximate because domain costs vary.

The Lead Finder credit schedule is unusually specific, and worth reading before you assume prospecting is free: viewing a lead costs 1 credit, finding an email 1.5, enriching a record 1.5, validating an email 0.25, previewing ten companies 6, and finding a LinkedIn profile from a post comment 0.3. A hundred credits come free at the entry tier, which is enough to evaluate the feature and not much more.

Deliverability

Three things here are worth naming because they are the parts that decide whether cold email lands at all. Inbox rotation spreads a campaign across multiple connected mailboxes so no single address carries the whole volume. Adaptive sending varies the pace rather than firing at a fixed rate. Domain audit checks DNS configuration — SPF, DKIM, DMARC — which is where most self-built cold email setups go wrong.

Email verification and warm-up being bundled rather than sold separately is a genuine cost difference against a stack that buys those from dedicated vendors. Whether the bundled versions are as good as the dedicated ones is exactly the sort of question a benchmark answers and a feature list cannot.

Integrations

HubSpot, Pipedrive, Calendly, Zapier and Google Sheets cover the usual ground. Clay and Persana address the enrichment workflow. There is a documented API, webhooks, a CLI, and an MCP server for connecting the product to AI assistants — a notably early move for a tool in this category.

Who it suits

Charging by contacted prospects rewards a particular shape of outbound: a large sending infrastructure, tight targeting, modest volume per prospect. An agency running many client domains through many mailboxes pays nothing extra for that infrastructure, which is a real structural advantage over per-seat competitors.

It penalises the opposite shape. If your approach is to contact very large lists and accept a low reply rate, the meter runs directly on the thing you are doing most of. That is not a criticism of the product so much as a statement of who it is priced for, and it is the single most useful thing to understand before trialling it.

What we’ll test

Inbox placement is the number that matters and the one nobody publishes honestly. When Woodpecker enters the benchmark we will measure placement across the major providers from our own domains, alongside the bundled verification and warm-up, and the real monthly cost at a defined sending volume rather than a slider position. Until then this page carries facts and no verdict. The method is written up on how we test.

How this score was reached

No score yet. We publish one only after a tool has finished its 30-day test on real campaigns — until then there is nothing to average. How we test.

Frequently asked questions

Does Woodpecker include email verification?

Yes. Verification is bundled at no extra cost according to the pricing page, rather than sold as a separate product. We have not yet tested how it compares to a dedicated verification service.

Does Woodpecker include warm-up?

Yes, with a small number of warm-ups included and additional ones sold at $5 per month per email account.

How much does Woodpecker cost?

It is priced per contacted prospect rather than in named tiers. The entry rate is $7.00 per 100 contacted prospects and falls as volume rises. Because the published price is a unit rate on a slider, we are not quoting a monthly figure until we have bought the account.

Is LinkedIn outreach included?

No. LinkedIn outreach is a paid add-on at $29 per month for each LinkedIn account you connect.

How many email accounts can I connect?

Unlimited, at no additional cost. This is unusual in the category, where per-mailbox pricing is more common.

Does Woodpecker have a free trial?

Yes, and the pricing page states no card is required.

Has SaaS.fit tested Woodpecker?

Not yet. This page carries no score and appears in no ranking. Everything on it is sourced from Woodpecker's own materials, checked September 2026.
